So just a couple lines from previous scenes that I feel have more weight now: in season 2 ep 9 during meliodas's trial (the one with liz) he said something to the effect of "every time I meet you I cant help falling in love more ........ I cant help bring more enraged (in regards to her death)" and all the way back in season 1 ep 5 he said "even if you die I will fulfill the promise I made to you" now of course no way of knowing for sure if the season 1 one was foreshadowing or not
