Might just be. The cross-eyes were definitely doing experiments there, so yeah, what just were they creating?

2020-03-31 21:42:24 +0000 UTCI'm gonna post my theory before reading the rest in manga form: Risu and Aikawa were "fused" in the secret Cross-Eyes laboratory in order to create a sorcerer hunter (because the Cross-Eyes don't have much magic, but if they kill the other sorcerers they are now the ones with the most magic), Risu's magic was the ability to be immune to magic, and Aikawa was something else, they took Risu's body and Aikawa's head to create the sorcerer hunter (maybe because Aikawa was smarter/more qualified to be a hunter). This sorcerer hunter was the one who attacked En in the mushroom city, and he later attacked Ebisu who used her magic on him to turn him into a lizard but because of Risu's magic only the head (who was Aikawa so didn't have the magic-negating abilities) turned.
