Providing a variety of toys from the start is super important so they are open to all sorts of colors and textures to try with. Getting Halo to play with toys while I was present was a whole other feat, lol...

I have tried clicking and rewarding for playing with toys to encourage it more, but Tucker immediately loses interest in the toy and thinks I want him to come out and train. So mostly I stuff seeds in his toys to encourage him to chew them.

I have toys stashed in all corners of the house to keep him busy. He is currently obsessed with hard plastic and paper. I wasn't paying attention the other day and he took a chunk out of my book in a flash!
