Once baby birds master the soft, easy toys... you don't want to take them away but you want to ensure you are providing the next step up with harder woods. It can be easy to focus on the fact that the baby bird loves a certain type and destroys it well and so you provide A TON of that... but you are doing better by your bird to provide more variety at that point vs the same things all the time. That's truly why my toy boxes are mysteries for both humans and birds.
