Q&A (other 2 Q's!)

I had to make an extra video for the two questions that didn't make it into my last one!

Q&A (other 2 Q's!)

That sounds like good advice to me. Our windows have a really lightly etched in hummingbird on them for the wild birds to see and it seems to work.

Thanks for answering my question. :-) Jinx is soooo cute.

Love Jinx singing :). Also, the ginger goes much better with black. I was wondering about tapping windows after watching a recent wingzNpaws video about his new house. He taught Smokey to knock on the glass which I thought was cool but wondered if it actually works. He also suggested putting a big X with masking tape.

Jinx is so cute singing! Thank you so much for answering my question!! Your answer was extremely helpful. His reaction to the harness tightening is very dramatic but pionus are notorious for this type of display. They will fake seizures, wheeze, or pretend to faint. I think it's supposed to discourage predators somehow like a possum playing dead. It's one of the things people warn new Pi owners about. Sometimes it is triggered by fear or can be just excitement Mine does the "pionus wheeze" sometimes when he is sleepy and really into a head scratch. I always stop when I hear it because I worry it's hormonal even though he's a bit young. He is not happy about the harness for sure and who would be. He is a pig but I've seen him truly afraid when he saw hawks at the batting cages. He didn't take treats and he didn't have a seizure when it was the real thing! He gives himself away. I think I'll give it another go on the next nice day and rush him outside to have treats on the porch. We have a very good bond so I think I'm ok to take a risk.
