This came up a lot in our live chat today on Zoom so I wanted to make it available to all patrons who wish to take part. You can also share the link with your bird friends who may need some extra help, too!

It’s crushed walnut shells but - it shouldn’t get wet or it can harbor bacteria without being changed immediately and the birds shouldn’t be allowed to go down and dig around in it either so I feed my birds in their aviaries and use the stands that have the walnut shells purely for playing / toy destruction.

2021-02-01 18:27:33 +0000 UTCNo, it's not a video it's just a post with a graphic image about submitting your story or video. It is in my community tab of youtube where I post mainly a photo a day with a caption. I also made posts on my Facebook Q&A group and the main FB page.
