I've been working on this with my Jardine's and have noticed that sometimes he's fine with going on his back and sometimes he doesn't want to. I can't predict when he'll enjoy it. He definitely prefers the more 'hippie hug' approach. I always try to ask him first, but usually don't get much of a response. Maybe I'll try the Rollover and see if he likes that better.
