TO ALL OF YOU!

I have an announcement in the works!!

TO ALL OF YOU!

Comments

I’d love an eclectus we had one years ago that we rehomed . If I would have had BirdTricks then we’d still have her. We pick up our new baby IRN in a couple of weeks. I have your sample box and have ordered my pellets. Thank you for teaching us how to do it right!

Lisa Osmar

Would love to work with one!

BirdTricks

How about a GCC? I have a Jenday and a ysGCC, and I am always hoping to see work with these smaller birds. I love to see the large ones too, but I have so many challenges with the little guys - I love to get ideas and implement your solutions!

naturemama

I hope you are taking on a Pearly conure. I have started a small flock of them and am finding that they are so much more switched on than the green cheek conures. I'm absolutely positive that mines more experienced in clicker training than I am🙂

Amanda Dakini

I've been so inactive here on patreon, so this isn't a guess. But I wish it was a white cockatoo! Not that I'm biased as a rescue cockatoo owner...😎 But Jamie think of the possibilities showing on real time how crazy hormonal they can get. Plus you could "overcome" your "fear"!🤠😜 (I know it's more like an aversion but still ;).

Catrin Griffiths

Aww Jaime! You’re the best! Where would we all be without you and Dave sharing so much knowledge with us! I, for one would’ve been lost, absolutely lost without you guys! Thank YOU!! I would love, love to see a Galah or Severe Macaw but I’m going to guess it will be a conure or Senegal - smaller sized parrot. They unfortunately are re-homed a lot!

Teresa Kernodle

Major Mitchell.... because we want one ...haha

Mark Milam

I hope it's a smaller bird like a cockatiel!!!! I would absolutely love that!!!

Heather Sears

Cockatiel?

Jonathan Gonzaga

I know it's unlikely, but I just hope for a cockatiel 😆🥰

Lucia Hellerhoff

Hyacinth!!!!! And you are welcome. I don't even have a bird but I love yours.

Barbara Stone

SO HAPPY YOU'RE ABLE GO WORK WITH FINANCIAL CONFIDENCE BECAUSE OF ALL OF US 💕😁 I hope the project bird is an African Grey!

Kristen

Cockatoo of some kind, but not a Galah

Amanda Smart

Yeah I know there are no native corellas, I was just curious about the pets you have. In Australia, we have little corellas, western corellas and long billed corellas as the most common ones, we see them wild more though than pets. Also just curious, do you have princess parrots in the US as pets?

Jessica Maree Matthews

There are no indigenous corellas in the US, but a handful of types are kept as pets. We refer to a couple of the most common as the Bare Eyed and Goffin's Cockatoo.

Mandy Rautio

I'm so excited and happy to be able to participate, even in such a small way. Thank YOU, Jamieleigh! Like many of those before me, I'd also be so thrilled for the project bird to be a cockatoo since they are among the most re-homed, yet sweet-natured birds when they don't have to undergo the trauma of multiple re-homings due to impulse buys by inexperienced bird owners who can't or don't know how to provide the care such a majestic creature deserves.

Mandy Rautio

Hit me up on FB if you want (Rhonda Kaupas)

GraceGarden

Jessi, I have a GCC also. I saw you on the live chat a few days ago. Have you started any training with your little ones? I just received my box of 8 Tiny Toys and Christopher is currently getting used to them.

GraceGarden

Hmm...maybe a congo african grey? I don't think its a cockatoo, because you wouldn't be so excited lol.

Heather Fromme

I love seeing you so enthusiastic about getting a project bird!!!! I love everything you and Dave do for the birds! Can't wait to meet the student.

Laura J Wilcox

I hope it is a Umbrella Cockatoo, but i doubt it. Maybe an amazon?

Heather Kenna Horner

Widget Widget??!

Susan Hopkins

It’s great to see you so excited to help yet another parrot. God Bless you. A project bird? My guess is a Cockatoo or a Grey.

Brad Rich

I think it might be the time to work on your white-cockatoo-fear, so I am guessing it’s an umbrella cockatoo?

Kuzey Unver

hoping it’s an eckie although unlikely!! I reckon a galah though

Alex kasidis

I think/hope it's a Too. 🤣 I totally agree with Tamara Holmes. She took the words right out of my heart. 💖

Kathy Surber

I hope it's some sort of cockatoo, like a cockatiel or a galah or corella. Are there corellas in the US?

Jessica Maree Matthews

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see Jaimie take on a Cockatoo! She could help a bird in need of her amazing help and conquer her own fears of them at the same time! What is it they say? Two birds one stone! LOL! =)

Mary Owens

Parakeet? That would be super cool. I have 2 budgies and they are so different in personality, we got them at the same time/place. One is very engaging and plays and is so funny. The other one, he definitely is not picking up on the "monkey see monkey do" thing. We still love him and hope he will open up more. And, for me at least, by keeping on with what you are doing, is thanks enough. You are amazing!

Dana Bland

I love following the progress w/your project birds. I’ve learned a lot of helpful techniques. I hope it’s a parrotlet b/c that’s my struggle right now. Tiny bird, HUGE personality w/huge issues.

Katie Lay

Thank YOU for making such a difference for so many birds!!! Can’t wait to see who your next project bird is! I hope it’s a cockatiel only because there hasn’t been much cockatiel-specific content, but judging by how excited you are, I think it’s another species of macaw ☺️

Veronica Park

cockatiel?

Miranda Brown

I hope and think cockatiel

Beth Chiarenza

Aww Jamie, thank *you* for creating such a great community to be a part of here. It’s our pleasure to support such a worthy cause and we get so much value from watching your videos! Like others have said, Eclectus is the first thing that popped into my head just because we havent seen you work with that species before. But from all the recent content I am wondering if you might be taking on a project budgie???

Lauren Holder

Brain says ecletus/amazon. Heart says cockatiel/cockatoo

FlyingCookie

Cockatoo :) or Amazon??? Really exciting x

Rebeccah Baylis

I'm guessing a Galah or Eclectus?

Gina Conrad

It would be very helpful for me if it were a Green Cheek Conure. Any color mutation!!! 😁 oh and we just got our tiny toys box and LOVE all of the toys!!!! Thank you!!!

Jessi Peterson

I’m hoping for a cockatoo but I know it won’t be 🤣

Sheila Diller

Jamie, this is Nancy from last Friday consult. I use many handles over social media(very confusing). You, my friend, are the real deal! My birds are doing amazing with the recommendations you gave me. And Kim is absolutely a life saver to me. She helped me greatly with the sleep schedule and fresh food schedule for my crazy trucking life. And aloe ? OMG! Magic! Oh, yes, Sapphire does have flight feathers. I am so glad you don’t ever give up on your dreams ( such as this platform) cause we all need you! What type of project bird? One with feathers!!!!! 😂😂😂😂

biggreenbirdie

I’m gonna say.... lovebird. The tiny birds seem to be a big hit with the followers lately!!

Carly

Eclectus 😃❤️ So enticing yet so difficult

Lynn Ann Wright

Learning from you to understand birds and their needs completely turned our life around. I now have two happy and healthy birds and relief knowing that I have somewhere reliable to turn in case of any issues. Your work is invaluable, Jamie, thank you so much! I hope you get a green cheek conure :)

Krisztina

Thank YOU for the amazing content you continue to put out!! I’m thinking a small-er bird (larger than a budgie but smaller than a macaw)

Ali Stergas

A blue headed pionus because I want merch. Actually, I'm guessing it's a tiny bird. A cockatiel, lovebird, or parrotlet. Maybe a small conure like a green cheek. Excited!

Holden Kendrick

I CAN’T even begin to GUESS what type of species it is... It’s hard to speculate

Kelly Jackson

I would love to see a cockatiel but that just seems so mild a bird considering some of your other project birds. I love the passion you have for what you do and that you share that so openly with us while at the same time you’re still just a normal mom and wife and parront trying to squeeze everyone in and somehow you manage add ons like us and project birds.

Sherry mathes

I'm hoping another African Grey :) but as you already have one I expect you are looking at a species you do not already have, no matter, super excited to see which little birdie arrives.

Bill Armstrong

I have a severe macaw her name is Luna the Lunatic she is a 9 year old rescue who has a feather destruction habit not to the point where it is bald but her down feathers are showing all over SHE REMINDS ME OF A LITTLE VELOCIRAPTOR

Kelly Jackson

I eagerly waiting on the announcement and I am with the previous comments 100%

Kelly Jackson

I’m a lifer with you guys. You have totally changed my birds lives for the better! So thank you ❤️ I’m going to go out on a limb and say an umbrella cockatoo bc I know they’re your favorite 😂 haha. Cant wait to find out. See you in a couple weeks on a consult.

Nichole Biedenback

I’m not sure, but I love how excited you are🙂. Can’t wait to find out!

Tiffany Hong

Too many species to guess but am super excited to see!!!

Jennifer Shirai

A cockatiel??

Wendy Cottingham

Im going to guess a type of conure!

Zaira Lupidi

A galah??? Thank you for showing us the correct way to care for parrots! I know if I haven’t found your channel, my sun conure would have been another rehomed statistic. Now I have a sun conure, black capped conure, and rescued cag with plans of expanding the flock and becoming a future free flight student of yours! I will always be here to support Birdtricks.

Li

Maybe a conure??

Patti Kousoulis

I hope it’s a mini macaw of some kind (I would love to see a Red Fronted Macaw because I would love to buy the merch 😂)

Daphne Ardizzone-Lewis

Cockatoo maybe I know far reach!! 🤣🤣

Nikki Simpson

I’m hoping it’s another quaker!!

Kelsey Gillespie
