2021-08-02 16:39:03 +0000 UTCPermission based training with ANY animal should be the only type of training, in my opinion. Too many times have I seen other methods fail or go horribly wrong. If permission based is not what the trainer is about or terms such as "alpha" are used RUN AWAY!

I’ve been calming down & not stressing as much after realizing I’ve done so much research that I can immediately spot the bad things in “cute” YouTube videos as well as help identify a lot of the behavioral issues & give decent advice for questions in the BT Facebook group. Sooooo anxious to put it into practice but the research continues, always. My future Fid…the only kid I’ll ever have is gonna be spoiled rotten. PS - I blame BirdTricks for ruining all those “cute” YouTube videos I used to enjoy. Now I just yell at the screen…”NO, NOT A BELL!”, “Don’t touch him there!!”, “Are those all dowel perches!?”, “OMG! Plastic food dishes!?”
