Oh flock! Capri and Jinx ep. 1
Added 2021-08-07 21:00:00 +0000 UTCLook what little human is finally ready to start interactions with our macaws! Right now, Jinx is the only macaw housed at my house while Comet and Tusa enjoy the aviaries out at my folks' property. I went looking for Capri around the house the other day and found her training Jinx while he was inside the aviary. Cueing all sorts of vocalizations and handing him treats. So I decided to ask her if I could film her session with him and now when he sees her he gets more excited than when he sees me! He exclaims "BUBBA!" when she comes around. It's pretty cute.
So this month will be capturing Capri's journey working with Jinx. Starting with inside the cage behaviors and cues so they both get to learn and associate one another first.
