I love the idea of body language courses! I feel like once you have diet and sleep right, being able to understand your birds body language is the next most important thing when it comes to caring for a parrot. You see it all the time on forums and social media. People thing being bitten by a budgie is funny, people accidentally triggering hormones (then saying "look how much they love me!" Gak!). I think it is a big part of why parrots end up being rehomed too. I have a friend's Quaker that I took on because he is an angry, angry, frustrated little man. They completely ignored all of his body language out of ignorance.

My condo has a community center that is pretty nice and huge. I used it for my wedding rehearsal dinner. Is available to be used for a master class it can easily seat 30 people with room. Has a kitchen bathrooms etc. I’m in the Tampa Florida area

In a way I'm glad I wasn't the only one. Lol.... but sad that they missed out on homes, toys, care, etc.

I had the same issue with fostering where no one answered. I also wanted to give away toys and nobody answered too!

I like the idea of taking with a rescue. My suggestion would be maybe open this up to a larger audience (maybe a YouTube announcement for those who follow you but not a patreon). Reason: before we got our Galah we contacted numerous rescues & they either didn't have anything or flat out wouldn't respond. I called, emailed and submitted applications to hear nothing back. I tried offering fostering too. It was all very frustrating which is one reason we got a baby. I'm sure that I'm not the only one that had this issue. Opening it up would give not only education but could result in someone finding a forever home.

Can’t wait for the eclectus videos!!

Body language at a rescue would be amazing. There is a huge rescue near Augusta, GA. Also, another good sized one in the Atlanta area. I happen to know that one has a whole róom full of white cockatoos. Jamie would love it. 😉

I'm so excited to seeing your beautiful female eclectus. We have a male and they are very different. We also have a sun Conure and a ghalla.

Leigh Blackler

I'm excited to see your diet conversion with an ekkie because my boy (also an ekkie) is still after a few years giving me issues. So I'm hoping to see how you handle her and wondering if it's the type of bird as to why he still gives me so much of a challenge

I vote hell yes for the body language class! I will find a place for you to host in Charleston. Mark my word! Lol!! 😆

Jessica Almquist

A body language is much needed in most cases. I would love that.

YES Eclectus are VERY different! I can hardly wait to see the Series. Agree about the body language class, sounds fascinating!!!! Hope you come to AZ for a master class! LOL 2 project birds!!! :You are brave!

Perfect idea about the body language class! There’s a rescue in Kalispell, Montana, and we could use one of the local church buildings.
