WE WANT YOUR BIRD!

Thank you to everyone who joined my Instagram live the other day (it’s on my profile feed if you missed it!) - we definitely had some great topics come up and I'm really excited for all the new things on the horizon!

One of the topics that was discussed during the Instagram live was in regards to our BirdTricks Tuesdays series for Bondi+ Patrons (also known as BTT episodes). We have been having a blast with the current theme of "body language" and know a lot of you have been really enjoying those videos, but we are running into an issue where we can show so much body language because we are limited to our birds and how they react to things. Therefore, we need YOUR help! (PS thanks to Kaity for this awesome suggestion!)

We are looking for people (aka: you!) to send us videos of their birds expressing some sort of body language. These videos will be used to help us create more Body Language BTT episodes for all Bondi+ Patrons (if you haven't seen what these videos look like yet, check out the one we released on YT showing what they are all about here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7DEph-TmuSE)

In regards to the videos themselves, while body language is a broad topic, there are a few criteria we have for the videos...

1) Please keep the video to no more than 5 minutes in length - with our download speeds, anything more than this can take WAY too long download lol

2) Please email the video to info@birdtricks.com in an EASILY downloadable format. Dropbox or any easy file sharing service is great.

3) Once you have emailed the video, my team will be sending you an email back letting you know they received it as well as sending you a media release. Please print, sign, and email them back a signed release ASAP for every person who appears in the video. Once you do, they will forward it to myself and Dave, and we will pick which ones get used for the series!

Thank you all so much for your support - I'm so excited to see your videos and to start filming these BTT episodes!

Wish I could predict the behavior. Unfortunately I do know it's linked to putting my Sulfur Crested Too up for the night. If I don't feed her fav (pine nuts) all the way to her sleeping cage I get bad bites. It just. I can't video it without taking one for the team. Uhg. I'm still healing (nerve pain) from the last bite.

@Wendy Cottingham Don't worry - You do not need to know what that body language means. πŸ™‚

I bet this could be so helpful if you actually do not know what is their body language, maybe others could interpret it for you

I am on it

This might be a dumb question but do we have to know what the body language means?? There is a few that my bird is giving an obvious signal but I'm not clear as to why? Does that makes sense?
