Amazing Job Jamie. I know working with an umbrella cockatoo was a challenge for you. You saved this birds life. Although I feel like I have made it through the diet conversion, I’m still looking forward to watching the diet conversion video that’s coming out.

2022-07-03 17:58:05 +0000 UTCGreat job with Blizz! It seemed to me that his heightened behavior when he saw his owner was not nearly as wild and he looked in your master class. He was worked up for sure but it seemed more controlled. Probably due to the better diet like you always say.

I have a question for you; I recently started volunteering at a bird sanctuary and they have over 85 cockatoos (all of which have bad behavior of one sort or another)! I've watched your videos on body language for other birds and know enough to respect any fluffing of feathers or eye-pinning. But how do you tell with a cockatoo when they're upset? If you and/or Dave could do a video on cockatoo body language, that would be great. I am looking for an older bird to adopt, but have ruled out getting a cockatoo because of not being able to read them. But as you know, they are the #1 most relinquished bird and the need for adopters is greater for them. More info on them would be GREATLY appreciated!
