Oh gosh, that was my mistake putting it public instead of patron only! I just changed it! Sometimes when I open it up to all tiers I make it public instead of all tiers 😬😬

BirdTricks

I just joined on the lowest tier. The descriptions mention access to your community posts however I could see these and comment on them before I joined. May be worth just updating the description to remove. I haven't seen anything on Instagram yet but I'm looking forward to viewing a few lives when I'm added.

Hi Crystal, we plan to be up and running with it again, we just don't know how soon that will be (would hate to promise something that changes) so definitely get on the list and we will pump out the product as soon as possible since we still have 1/2 the machines running/producing.

BirdTricks

I had missed that video, yikes sorry you have to deal with that. Maybe a note on the product page that it's out of commission indefinitely due to warehouse flooding.

Crystal Robinson

I have a video coming out soon explaining why that is the case, I also have talked about it on Instagram live chats too. We hope to have a solution soon but you can email my team info@birdtricks.com and get on the waitlist and we can get it to you as soon as we are able.

Love seeing progress with project birds - and their personalities and temperaments

Access to the freeze dried SFS it's the main reason I was staying at the higher tiers but ever since it went public it's still constantly sold out.

Does Dave do training with your birds? Can he record some of his training sessions for the O’Flock series? I agree with other people’s comments.

Beckie Child

Definitely more Dave and Patty. Love the way you and Dave play off each other and listening to your varied/different viewpoints on topics. And Patty is just too vast a wealth of knowledge to keep hidden 😉Would also be fun to see a few “vlog” style videos as well!!

Ali Stergas

Dave did not build those, they are from a company called Prevue and you can find some of them on Amazon! (as far as the trees go!)

BirdTricks

lol i know it's a bit of a cop-out, but... i love to see BIRDS! more birds in 2023! lol, this shouldn't be ~too~ hard to work into the schedule, i bet xD

tzxazrael

I agree. I have mastered a few (wave, high 5, spin, touch, come and fly) but there are so many more I don't know where to start with.

I absolutely appreciate when you’re active in the Patreon comment section as well

Top 3: Oh flock, Nutrition videos with Patty, Project Birds

Jennifer Perez

Gosh don’t take anything away I love it all 😊. Project bird Lefty's story and journey with Capri is actually what brought me to Patreon in the first place. Project birds are definitely or at least hopefully what draw people to Patreon. All the other things, that's just icing. I have small birds but I love seeing content that involves any of your birds but especially those that are bigger and/or different than my birds, no offense BB. Love the early access for sure. Another thing I think that keeps me here on Patreon is this post. You ask, we speak, You listen. We all follow you because we believe in you so for you to ask our advice and then use some of what you take away from that is amazing. Ok I know I got off topic but just wanted to mention how grateful I am for you and all you teach us.

Wow imagine having a crate training minicourse

I would like a training on how to get a fearful (in my case citron cockatoo) bird into the back pack. Once I pass that hurdle I can then take him places 😀

Back in the day Dave and Jamie had a Patreon series about flight training (if I remember correctly it was in doors flight training) Found the link: https://www.patreon.com/posts/25078486?utm_campaign=postshare_fan

I always found In home and master classes videos to be both the most fascinating and helpful so I really enjoy them. If you do keep going in the route of diet conversion and in depth videos about diet and nutrition I find this interesting, my dream content diet wise is an SFS breakdown- where you and patty break down the SFS and explain the value of each ingredient and how they complement each other (that is a lot to ask but if you ever do this I’ll be exuberantly happy). I always enjoy in depth videos about project birds, for some reason the story of Bean was very special to me, keep bringing us in into the project bird’s stories and life - they’re both moving and helpful. I feel like you could actually write a story book about this stories if you wanted, there’s something special about this bird stories. This idea came up to me after writing about the project birds, you can vlog a day in a life of one flock member at a time - it’ll give us a special view and introduction to who they really are. As another pointed, I really appreciate Dave content, if and when Dave has time, I’ll be more than happy to enjoy his videos. Same goes with Patty or any other of your team members that has a cool thing to share with us - we love them here on Patreon.

I love the project bird content. I also love watching the Q&A, even though my tier can't ask a question. I was actually on the higher tier for a while but I realized I struggled to come up with good questions. It seemed that I got more value from other people's questions. I'm not sure what you can take away from that. 😂 I really, really enjoy the early and exclusive access to products and learning about what you guys are working on for the future. I'd love to get special discounts on toys or exclusive to Patreon toys. Did Dave build the awesome forraging trees you have? I'd like for him to show us how to do that. Actually I'd like to see more of Dave in general. He always has keen insights. I'd like to see more of Patty too, for the same reasons. If possible, I'd like to have Jamie in the videos with them, not just them alone. It's hard to explain but the two of them make a great foil for Jamie and vice versa because their energy is different.

I haven't had patreon for very long So far I love tasty Tuesdays and project birds. I also love the discounts, digital content and early access products. I haven't really had chance to see much else so can't comment. Things I would love to see: trick training, flight training and maybe themed tasty Tuesdays (Halloween, Christmas, Easter etc)

Sarah Morris

Trick training ideas? Inc showing how you break down each step - it doesnt come naturally to some of us! ☺️ xC

Carrie Stewart

I agree I would love to see some tips on flight training. Maybe flight Fridays 😊

Sarah Morris

Live chats definitely please keep them. And I love project bird updates :).

Tiffany Hong

I can't live without project bird content! It could be completely unedited and I would still watch it multiple times!!! It's my favorite. I would love to see some content on indoor flight training. And the tastey Tuesdays with Capri are cute but I personally don't watch them often because I have tiny birds that are too small for a lot of the things and honestly, they eat their chop just fine...They're lovingly called my "pig birds." I WOULD LOVVVVE to see more content with Jamie & Patty talking about nutrition. Those are some of my favorites. I've only had Patreon for maybe 2 months and I've already gone back to like 2018 watching as many videos that I could find about nutrition. Oh and...sprouting videos using the easy sprouter! Like step by step, the whole process and updates in sprouting grains and safe beans.

Brickelle Gregory

I love anything to do with training!! So I absolutely love: Project bird content!! Oh Flock! BTT-body language, would love to see more on flying. desensitizing those kind of things. I would love more trick training! Working through problems dealing with tricks. I think that is why I love the Oh Flock series. I really enjoy Live chats, discount merch and early access to new products! Thanks Jamie!!

Wendy Cottingham

Top pick is project bird content -- I watch every video as soon as I get the email, and love these no matter how heavily or not these are edited. It's so helpful to see what various types of training or diet conversion looks like in practice, and how you work through things whether it's a great session or a tough one. Oh Flock is second for the same reason. :) Third would be either Q&A or live Zoom Q&A. Merch, products, and digital courses aren't huge for me, but I'm probably an oddball here in your Patreon community since I work with other animals and not parrots. :)

Chelsea Lang

More project bird content. Two of my birds are rescues and each of them have their own fears & idiosyncrasies. One is absolutely hands-off because he experienced an EXTREME trauma. I would love to get to the point where he was simply calm and comfortable around humans.
