Wanted to update that I also found the magic of random additives, small pinches of grain, legume or veggy sprouts/micro greens/random peices of veggies/tiny tasteful seeds (dill/respberry seed/hemp slices/ground flax), one addtive every other meal. Very helpful for keeping meals interesting. And I think I I will most definitely try your method of preserving fresh veggie texture with flax seed in my next batch. You have provided us SO MANY valuable tips, I am so thankful Jamie! this kind of tips are also in the Diet Conversion Course and now the public can benefit from this wisdom as well. This is the best.

Yes that would work great

Yes, but not as much as the ball shape

I think it depends on their current personal taste, it might work up better! If they don’t like mushy food as much right now, they might be more receptive to crunchy stuff mixed in.

Hey Jamie! While diet converting to feeding just fresh SFS with two recipes (one for evening and one for morning), is it okay to be inconsistent/random about which recipe is served at breakfast and which at dinner? (For example to serve recipe X at breakfast and recipe Y at dinner one day, and on the other day serve recipe Y at breakfast and and recipe X at dinner?), Chako fills himself more on breakfast than on dinner, and I’d like him to be receptive to both recipes.

So if they don’t like sweet potatoes do hard boiled eggs work?

This is how I converted my cockatiel! It was such a good idea!
