I really appreciate how you make space for us as trainers or handlers to have feelings hurt -- I think I first heard you talk about this after Capri got bitten, and it helped me to put words to feelings I can have sometimes, where we want our animals to be friends with us and be kind to us, and when that doesn't happen we take it personally. What do you try to do to move on and reset (both yourself and your bird) in that situation?

It almost reminds me of teenage tantrums saying the worst things like “YOU ARE THE WORST MOM EVER YOU ALWAYS TELL ME WHAT TO DO AHHHHHHHHH”, if only she knew how silly she looks when being grumpy.
