I didn't do any new highlight video on her but plan to in some of the upcoming trips! 2023-06-02 19:37:28 +0000 UTCThat's anticipatory - he wants to fly as well but knows he needs me closer and paying a lot more attention to him for him to be able to do it. You will see him do it in a more exaggerated way in more videos to come when I actually do flight training again.

2023-06-01 17:17:05 +0000 UTCI am not sure why Comet is the least friendly macaw towards other macaws, it could stem from him being so much less capable than most. He's not very nice to other birds in general, so it's not just Ava. He's the reason we made the solid dividers in the aviary because he made Cressi's toe bleed once and that was enough for me!

2023-05-29 01:32:30 +0000 UTCI love π the Painted Hills! They are spectacular! It gets really hot there in the summer. Glad you were there in the Spring. Itβs so interesting seeing the dynamic Ms of the birds when they interact. Seeing them one on one gives a limited perspective on their behavior. Do you think Comet is jealous of Ava? Why do you think he dislikes her so much?
