Parrot Handling: Flying to the HAND Instead of ARM
Added 2024-03-18 15:00:07 +0000 UTCIf you saw the last video I made for Pepper's owners, it was all about proper handling of getting a bird to transition to using your arm or wrist to stand on to stepping up onto your hand. In this video, I was trying to show them that it's all about how you offer yourself to the bird so that transitioning from a bird landing on your arm to your hand would be seamless.
When consulting with clients, I often times like to show them what it looks like through demos with my own birds and Tusa was the perform demo bird for this. I hope it sheds light on fixing any struggles you've having at home!
