Yeah, you clearly see the PTSD they are experiencing. It was for sure a nice episode giving these kids a chance to breathe and for us to get more characterization for them. You don't think her power could come in handy on the battlefield or in their endeavors? More so then simply being a mascot? I also made the mistake that she can see the future. I believe I read it wrong and it said she can see the past and present of a person she knows.

2021-10-10 20:04:10 +0000 UTCThis episode was a nice change of pace from all the battles. A slice of life sorta episode, but you know it won’t last. Think it highlighted pretty well the PTSD they’re all going through. You can take the 86 off the battlefield, but you can’t take the battlefield out of the 86. Especially like that scene where you see a couple that look similar to Anju and Daiya during Anju and Theo’s convo; the Juggernaut that transitioned to the Vánagandr in Kurena’s perspective. The thing with Frederica…she’s a child, but she’s mature for her age most likely because of her upbringing; add her lineage ability, being able to see a person’s past and future, even a tad bit, probably makes one older mentally. PTSD also adds to it too. I wouldn’t say she’s solely responsible for the Legion invasion, but most likely just shouldering the responsibility of the actions of those before her. Sad tbh. And the reason she’s allowed to go to the battlefield? Let’s just say she’s a ‘mascot’.
