2021-10-10 19:59:00 +0000 UTCFor the record since a lot of people get confused about this point, it's not Mater who purposefully burns Mary. If you read back what she says, it’s that Mary's body burns as a result of Mater's divine presence. If Mater didn't look over Mary while Mary prays to her, her divine presence wouldn't be there and thus Mary wouldn't burn. This means that Mater listens to Mary's prayers (further exemplified by Mater giving Holy Bread to Mary for Will's sake). So while Mary views herself burning as a punishment for her betrayal, it isn't a punishment directly dealt by Mater herself. It instead comes from the simple fact that as an undead, divine presences hurt.

And what did you say at the end of video "What the secret is, and Gus MARRYING Blood?" lol, what the hell didn't know the skeleton and ghost were married haha :D

2021-10-10 19:09:38 +0000 UTCI can understand your view point for sure. I think the purpose of it was to set up the mysteries behind his parents while learning the truth about them before or maybe even after he sets off on his own journey.
