Exciting news! Now that all of my collaboration videos are out with Marlene, it's time for the last collaboration we did in Las Vegas which was with Caroline Von Petzholdt.
This collab was VERY controversial. On one hand, I had people asking me to help her with her 27 year old rehomed hyacinth "Glory". She also had people on her channel telling her to reach out to us for help with this bird. Then I had a whole lot of people telling me NOT to have any association with her because of all the drama (click bait titles, dramatic movies, etc.) that goes on over on her channel.
Our first video (publishing tomorrow at 4:30am PST on my channel and 4:30pm PST on her channel (from our own perspectives) is merely our meeting and what took place. You guys know me from masterclasses as being very... up front... I don't -- I should say I CAN'T -- sugar coat things. I can't be anything but up front and honest. So I wanted you all to see that honesty and I included much more of it than I would normally; but I knew this sort of conversation was one that had to be had from the get-go and was something I need my subscribers to know I would do.
Now, we spent the entire day with Caroline getting to know her on a deeper level than YouTube will ever show. And in the video description I go into more detail about why I chose to do this collaboration (which was actually just another parrot owner asking for a public consultation to me.)
We all start somewhere. And the bigger thing is being willing to admit our mistakes when we make them. That is what BirdTricks is founded on - showing the JOURNEY, the PROCESS, the wins and the losses, the successes and the failures... not just the end result.
I'd rather be a part of someone's transformation than have never given them the time of day. I'd hope no one would pass judgement on me without having first-hand experience to "judge" from.
So as I said before, this video (at least to me) is not educational. Hopefully you all find something educational about it - the following videos to come with her will be our consultations about Glory, her 27 year old newly adopted hyacinth. I still need to watch those videos and figure out which ones will be posted on each channel to come but as it's figured out you will be the first to know!
Thank you for being here.
New video posted on OUR YouTube channel and HERS tomorrow; different videos! Stay tuned!
