Sorry you guys were not the first to know about this video on YouTube. What happened was RIGHT before we left to join the Disney Fantasy cruise ship, I received this email from a customer and I knew I had to do something immediately. It consumed me to film, edit and upload (uploading was something I literally did piece by piece with the upload resuming in each airport I landed in!) to get it up as soon as I could as my Monday video yesterday. It was entirely unplanned, which as you guys know, usually all my content is quite planned out.
I literally titled it "Emergency Video" when I exported it.
Admittedly, since starting up our Parrot Training Podcast (which if you click on that, you can have access to future podcasts before others know it's out there!) I have become very behind on my Monday/Thursday postings and have not been able to plan them out as far in advance.
However, this Thursday's video (April 25) is going to be another collaboration (an educational one, yay!) with Caroline. Again, you can view it early if you want by clicking on that link. What Caroline thought was possessive, territorial, loving and even aggressive was ACTUALLY... hormonal. Hormones is a big issue for me, kind of like diet, where I feel a major lack in overall awareness among parrot owners everywhere. Which is why I'm appreciative to bring yet another video about it to my channel. I also think many bird owners still believe it's "cute" or that their bird is showing them they "love" them when that's just not a healthy way of thinking for yourself, or the bird.
I then had the chance to film an ADORABLE video (more of a Q&A) with my 3 sun conures and share tid-bits about them - mostly just show how cute they are and - GASP - quiet. I know, you seriously have to see this video to believe the silence. It's unbelievable - and I did not use camera tricks! That one is coming April 29.
I'll be updating you all on what content is coming next month, of course, but wanted to make sure to fill you in for the last part of this month so you know what to look for and have the chance to watch early should you choose to do so!
