11 sponsors away from getting Touché!
Added 2019-05-01 22:33:38 +0000 UTCI know you've all wanted an update on where I'm at with sponsorships to get Touché! So, I am currently 11 sponsors away. I am working hard on booking consults up until we pick up Lefty, and we will be trying to add more Masterclasses and Workshops in our schedule to be able to pick up the financial slack if need be.
This is supposed to be my year of paying off debt which I have been able to make an incredible dent in! (For those of you who are new, I broke my wrist during a performance two years ago on board Norwegian Cruise Lines where we were booked 2+ years in advance and 11 months out of the year. This injury took me out of performances and we were replaced on the cruise line. We sold what we could year 1 to make ends meet and year 2 we began creating things to create a new source of income (a great reminder not to have all your eggs in one basket!)
However, family and friends truly came to our rescue and helped us out a lot... and even so, we became quite behind on many things (financially speaking) so as much as I would love to be able to sponsor project birds on my own (someday!) it's not feasible for me at the moment.
Your help is GREATLY appreciated as working with these unwanted birds is food for my soul (and theirs, I hope!) and is extremely fulfilling work that I am grateful to be able to share with the world and help many more birds through doing so.

It is less than a Happy Meal or most large coffees. C'mon people....take your lunch to work one day a month and know that you are doing something good.
