To my project bird sponsors of TouchΓ©... I know some patrons suggested I let more people give under this tier once I reached my goal, however, I am going to keep the 20-person cap on this tier to ensure I can do some really special things throughout my time with these two birds for these very special people.
Space will open if people, for whatever reason, can't commit to the following two months (I don't know that until the billing cycle hits at the beginning of each new month) and I will let everyone know if there becomes space.

2019-05-07 20:35:49 +0000 UTCNancy, Jamie was planning on taking a project bird for the next few months - a bird from a rescue that due to it's issues wasn't getting adopted. Her goal was to work with the bird and hopefully transform it so it could find its forever home. The decision was between two birds - Lefty and Touche. Patrons voted on which bird after hearing their stories and chose Lefty (there are some youtube videos on it as well). However, we all really wanted her to take on both, but that was a huge financial and time strain. One patron began a gofundme for the bird, but instead it was decided if she could get 20 specific project bird sponsors (along with some other patrons), it would be feasible for her to dedicate everything to these two birds (the time needed would mean she would need to take off work for a few months). She just reached her goal, meaning that she can now stop work and work with both birds and hopefully work with them and the rescue to get them ready for their forever homes β€π€
