Good deal. Thank you!

2019-06-05 01:39:17 +0000 UTCNo, it’s for all patrons including the conure tier which is why I include the + sign. All my videos are hosted the same way but sometimes if you watch within the phone app vs the internet browser it’ll work. Not sure why that is!

2019-06-05 01:26:30 +0000 UTCEvery time I try to watch a family Friday video, it tells me the video is unavailable. I’m a cockatoo. Is it only for conures?

2019-05-28 05:36:04 +0000 UTCUsually baby birds prefer foods that are soft and easy for them to explore - so foods similar to baby foods like cooked sweet potato, steamed anything really to get that warm/mushy texture. You can do it to carrots, beets, broccoli, cauliflower, parsnips... that's probably why he took to the banana so easy. So try to keep things that texture for now and by offering our pellets if you can, they're cold pressed so he can also break them easily and you can use them in powder form to introduce him to them as well and mix them among the other things he likes.

2019-05-28 04:50:49 +0000 UTCYea I watched that podcast which is why I was skeptical of weaning him onto it! If I hadn’t I probably would have listened blindly lol. Are there any veggies you think would be the easiest for me to wean him on to? Or do you think it will be fine with whatever?

2019-05-28 03:00:21 +0000 UTCDefinitely wean it onto healthy foods vs junk food. We just had a podcast on this topic and it’s frustrating to hear how common it is to hear breeders lead owners astray when it comes to proper lifelong nutrition - wean onto healthy veggies, fresh fruits and pellets. 💕 do not feed seeds or dried fruits. Dried fruits can stay out of the diet completely and seeds are not hard to get a bird to take as a treat down the road.

2019-05-28 02:45:59 +0000 UTCBig question!!! I have a baby ringneck parrot and he’s almost 8 weeks and my breeder said that in the next couple of days I need to start to wean him off of his formula. When I asked him what I should start to try to feed him he told me to feed him dry berries and seed mixes... I don’t know if I should listen to him and feed him the dried berries and stuff or if I should feed him fresh veggies and fruits. The other day I was eating a banana and let him take a bite and he enjoyed it so I’m scared if I feed him the dried berries and seed mixes if he will not want to eat the fresh food. What should I do?
