New Merch!

My toucans+ have been part of the creation process of my merch designs, and although some are still in the works, here is where my merch line is so far. My line represents not only my own flock members, but my project birds. I wanted each bird to have something relatable, some double meanings, some things open to interpretation. Let me know which ones you connect with most... 

Rocko "Be the fruitloop in a world of cheerios"

I wanted Rocko's message to be colorful (even though toucans aren't necessarily) and light-hearted. My toucans+ suggested this design be available in kids sizes so it is, as well as fun colors!

I love this one's double meaning since the conures are little. I feel like a lot of time we get stuck comparing ourselves to other bird owners and feeling guilty for not being good enough or doing enough. We need to learn to embrace our own pace. Even baby steps, taken in the right direction, are progress. So this message is in the hopes that we work on bettering our birds lives little by little. 

Cressi "Good Food, Good Mood"

Cressi's is probably one of the more obvious messages! We all know Messy Cressi earns her nickname each and every day by how much she enjoys her meals... and I think it's super important to remember to feed GOOD food to get good moods out of our feathered companions. Not to mention for ourselves, too. I know fruit should be a treat food, but the design looked so much more lively with fruit vs veggies (we tried, haha) 

Rasta "Face Your Fears"

Rasta was one of my hardest project birds to make progress with, all because it can be very hard to convince birds to face their fears (or people, for that matter) and I think it's a very important reminder to do so in order to grow.

ChiChi's playful nature led me to this design and message. This is probably the reminder I personally need most in my life with where I am currently at.

Comet was my first merch design with his double meaning of a #footcheck and the deeper meaning of staying grounded, being present in the moments life gives you. 

Touché "Against all odds"

This is Dave's favorite design of all so far. I'm pretty in love with it, too! No one thought Touché would fly again with the butcher job of a wing clip he received and yet, against all odds, he still torpedo'ed about the house just fine!
