360 degrees of Cockatoos!

We were taken to a park here (which is going to stop allowing this in 3 year's time) in Melbourne, Australia where you are given trays to feed the wild cockatoos. Because they've been having issues with these birds becoming aggressive to tourists, they are stopping this over a process of doing it less and less each year over a 3 year time span. We luckily did not experience any aggression ourselves but I did witness some on other people. Nonetheless, it was a really cool experience to be this close with wild cockatoos whom I'm finding are not as intimidating as the captive ones!

I hope you guys enjoy this behind the scenes video and enjoy the 360 aspect (when watching you can change the perspective and look around!)

We feed our local wild cockatoos, but as we don’t use bird netting, they nip off every bud and flower on our apple and peach trees. They are very clever and destructive.

This would be absolute heaven for me. Wish I had gone to Australia when I had the chance. Also Jamie's laugh reminds me so much of Storm :)

Awesome! I'd love to be in the middle of that flock. =0 )

Thank you for sharing! The 360 was AMAZING! I'm surprised at just how white such big outdoor birds are.

This is awesome! I'll have to watch it a few times to catch everything πŸ˜„ I'm inspired to do more with my Fusion camera now too πŸ˜‰ It was a really great weekend, with the workshop, the cockatoos, and then the masterclass. Thank you for everything πŸ’• Hopefully I will have made more progress with my two little poppets by the time you visit next πŸ™ˆ Which I hope is soon!! πŸ‡¦πŸ‡ΊπŸ¦πŸ’œ
