Ok, thank you

That isn't easy to consult about without seeing the body language progression real time...

I have a Dusky Conure (10 months old) and a Galah (11 months old) and a Cockatiel (3 years old). My cockatiel and galah respect each other but my conure full out attacks the other birds. Our conure bit and broke a blood feather off our cockatiel’s wing before we could split them up. Now we keep her away from the other two. Do you have any suggestions on how to help them get along?

I got my girl and she was in quarantine in my bedroom. In my living room was my boy. They could hear each other but hadn't met yet, it was about a week or so into quarantine. I had given him his breakfast already and had opened the cage door again to give him his fresh water when he burst out of the cage, flew directly into my bedroom, landed on the quarantine cage and promptly started feeding my girl through the bars. I put them in the big cage after that (I was still new to birds and didn't know any better). They have been super bonded every since.

My Ringneck is so similar to Touche. He loves other birds!! We added a GCC to our flock a few months ago and it has gone really well. Our green cheek is a bit of a bully but they really enjoy hanging out together. Our parrotlet is a little bummed because he has a bit of a crush on the Ringneck but they get along ok. From what I have read and heard from other Ringneck owners is that males are much better with other birds where females can be quite aggressive and mean. I had such a struggle getting our Ringneck to fly to me but when the conure started flying to me the Ringneck picked it up and will now fly to me from almost anywhere in the house. Ringnecks are such challenging birds but once you gain their trust and work with them they can be so much fun!! I just don't think I would recommend one for very many people. I have loved watching you work with Touche' and Lefty!!

When my two birds were introduced, I wasn't present. Or consulted. We boarded our one-year-old green-cheeked conure at the pet store (yeah, I know. We were stupid, we have been taught better now--by you!) where we bought her, and they introduced her to a six-month-old female green-cheek while we weren't there. By the time we picked her up, they were buds, and the deed was done. If it was a sales tactic, it was highly successful! BTW, in total agreement about Bondi's little nod, so freakin' cute!

AW Bondi's nod at the end, so sweet.

Boomer is such a bully! 🤦🏻‍♀️ Everyone is afraid of him, including the dogs! Not sure how to deal with it at this point. I just don’t let them have this close of space because anytime I try and then distract him or try to run interference he gets pissed at me.

I love her response to 'are you ready for dinner' 🥰😂
