Collabs in the works + new projects!

Hi toucans+! 

I have some exciting things in the works I want to share with all of you... 

First, this month when I go to Pahrump, NV to train a new bird outside for the first time (eee!!!) I invited Instagram celeb @bogiethegalah to join us in on the fun! I originally met Emily and Bogie through doing online consults for them, but since then we've connected and I can't wait to meet them both in person, and share it with all of you. 

Second, the new freeflight student going outside for the first time in January is a baby red fronted macaw! So excited to share his journey with you all... 

Third, we have a new freeflight student taking our course unlike ANY other student we have ever had before. I am hoping we will be ready to share this journey with you sometime in February, but it will surely blow your minds. I was admittedly, too scared to take on this student at first, but Dave was nothing but inspired by the story and felt compelled to help him. You guys will definitely be the first to hear about it when we have some content to release about it! 

Fourth, I am working with Hyper Finch on Instagram to make our exclusive line of pins give 100% of our profits back to parrot rescues! That will be in place this year and I am so excited to help the community on a more consistent basis financially. In my efforts to help fellow artists like Hyper Finch, I took no income on these pins and actually bought them to allow Capri to re-sell at our shows which gave her some confidence interacting with fans. Although she will be doing that for one final year this year, after that point the pins will be 100% only available online through Hyper Finch's Etsy shop with all profits going to Ronie's Rescue. 

I chose Ronie's because I work so closely with them on project birds, we do an annual show fundraiser for them and I have seen their struggle first-hand and believe in what they are doing. They are such good, deserving people doing the best by all the birds they have surrendered to them. 

Fifth, I have a designer working on a Jinx merch design but I still do not have a slogan for him! Any help is appreciated!! Leave me a comment with your suggestions! 

Sixth, Dave will be headed back to Brisbane, Australia in March and April of this year. If you would like a follow up consultation in that area, let us know via email info@birdtricks.com and we will schedule you in! In home consults are $650 USD but we will be offering them for $500 USD with limited space this trip. 

Seventh, thumbnails for my videos is something I've struggled with forever! I am not a designer and that stuff doesn't come easy to me. I've been receiving your kind feedback about it that I need a style that shows the videos are by me, and not by someone random... and I'm excited to say a designer hired herself this year by offering to work with me through that creation process and create thumbnails for me (thank you, Hannah!)!!!! I am beyond excited about this and cannot wait for you guys to see the channel completely branded out with these new thumbnails. So far, we decided on a simple, clean design for my parrot training consultations playlist videos. 

I really hope you guys like all the new changes coming and as always, we are completely open for your suggestions.
