Sunny gets new wings!!!!

And if you tuned into our last live you heard the exciting news of Sunny getting a new set of wings. The next episode of Unwanted will cover what that process included and looked like! Can't wait to share all the details with you guys.

So the imping was just under $500 total and the rest of the work we had done was just at another $500. 2020-08-14 19:53:15 +0000 UTCI’m so happy for him! Lucky little champ, I can’t wait to see him fly one day when his wing muscles get stronger! I imagine going from stubby wings to full wings in a day would be quite an adjustment to make. Not gradual like a moult.

I read an article about a Green Cheek Conure getting primaries "imped" (is that short for implanted?) but at 60 grams it seems less miraculous. Congrats, Sunny! He sure looks pleased with the results!
