PS. I am trying a new camera angle since purchasing a new desk. This is all still a WiP, but any feedback is appreciated. Also, you'll notice the mic has a bit of an echo throughout the video, but not in the outro discussion. That might be due to me being a little closer in the outro. Again, any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Also! Idk why the anime is so dark in certain parts... It might be that way in the source file too.

2023-01-03 17:45:15 +0000 UTCThe biggest changes were changing from a corner desk to straight desk, and the new webcam is on top of my main monitor which is above eye level. Before the cam was between my two monitors and off to the side along with being slightly above eye level. The reason I look down is due to my monitor needing to be slightly higher so the subs are easier to read. It's a 32 inch monitor and it's too close. I need to mount them, I think, but idk if that'll make much of a difference. I only put the anime footage at that position so it doesn't cut off part of my body, but I guess that's not a big deal if it does. I just want this to look nice. That's the whole point of getting the new webcam. :(

2023-01-02 23:14:35 +0000 UTCI'm not as bothered by the change as Grumo57, but I can see their point of view. I noticed when you're watching the video you tend to look more downwards and slightly to your left. As a first step, maybe just try and move the video window so it sits below your eye line. The fact it sits above your eyes while you're looking down might just be the biggest contributor to that disconnect. If that's not enough, and more people complain, you could try adjust things so you're on the left side of the screen [move yourself to your right] and place the video window below your eye line and to your left side. I don't know if you can adjust yourself, your camera, or muddle things around with editing software? It sounds like you don't really have that much room, or lee way to work with, so I'm not sure what I could recommend past that. Honestly I can live with things as they are now, it really doesn't bother me that much. Unless you get a lot more negative responses to how you've got things set up it might not be worth it to mess around.

2023-01-02 21:08:49 +0000 UTCHey dude, I'm here to share my view on the new layout, I think it's worse than the old format, your line of sight is not towards the anime and that creates a disconnect, also the head on look is worse than the sideways one in my opinion, it just looks awkward. So yeah, basically every change has been for the worse IMO, sorry for the negative take but that's just how I feel.
