That scene where Euphie catches Anis deep on a couple of levels. One because Euphie is committing to being there to save Anis, just as she was saved. Two, as has been stated in the past this world has no flight magic, Anis used past life knowledge to create a flying broom, but the idea of flying magically by spell alone is mocked as a childish or adolescent dream. Euphie flew to save Anis. Euphie, in her desperation to reach Anis, created flight magic to mimic what Anis' broom could do. This episode is a bit of a mold breaking moment for Euphie, just an episode or two ago she was begging Anis to tell her what to do, to give her a role to fill, because that's all she's known. This episode, Anis give her that order, support the fighters fighting the monsters, and she almost immediately breaks out of that role, and goes to help Anis with her magic. She's changed enough since the prince dumped her, even if she didn't realize it herself, that she's starting to make decisions on her own, for herself. She's decided that Anis is more important to her, than the order Anis gave her, more important than a role to fill, more important than the conventional magical wisdom that says flight magic is a child's dream. It's easy to miss the depth of that moment, in the action of all the fighting, but it's there.

Anis was asleep for 2 or 3 Days, there was a Discussion after she woke up with the Father of Euphie and her Father, the King about various Things concerning this. and best of all, her Father decided on a Punishment that might be just as worse for Anis as forbiding her from working on her Research, which was that she had to behave and work like a Princess should be for the Victory Party. Euphie and Ilja had to drill Dance Lessons, Etiquette and other Stuff in her Head ^^
