The buff just aren't as high as compared to the meals directly from his store. That's why he's careful regarding the wagyu steak, cause of how much it buffed Fel, and swore it off, lol xD But yeah, the rest still gives buffs, just not anywhere near that high. Remember the first party he travelled with. He used normal meat from the new world, but cause of how he cooked it, they got buffed.
