Thank you for your commentary. I particularly enjoyed your remarks about art in the workplace and about how the picture with Kier looking over the landscape could represent freedom and that's why they found it unsettling. We are delving more into capitalism being turned into religion which is a formidable aspect of the show that I particularly appreciated during my first visioning of this season. The handbook is literally written as a bible would be. We also are delving more into the characters' psychology. I find really fascinating that Helly's innie and outie seem to be so different. It reminds me of the debate between nature vs nurture. They may be the same biological person with the same brain but their life's experiences are so different that it shaped their personalities in a complete different way. I'm totally here for the beginning of a possible romance between Irv and Kurt. They only know life being work and nothing else. How can they manage to handle an emotion they never felt before nor have any real comprehension of? Can love be more powerful than an entire existence of brainwashing and (let's called it) slavery? At last, I want to express my congratulations to all actors in the show. They are phenomenal. The subtlety of Irv and Kurt relationship, the distress of Mark which is always there even in the severed floor, the desperation of Helly and the ambiguity of Ms. Cobel / Selvig towards Mark's wellbeing. I haven't been this dithyrambic about a show in a while.
