What Jinx is afraid of...

When I posted the video of my birds around tools like pressure washers and such, it was because a patron specifically asked to see footage like that. I think a huge difference between that experience and this one, was that I was the one operating the loud, big object the first time and I do it all the time and can control how close or far away I get to my birds based on their body language cues. But in this video, it's completely out of my control and they don't have as much experience with it since my lawn guy normally comes early in the mornings before I've had a chance to put the birds out. So this was a more random experience for us that I decided to capture for you guys and don't worry, it's easy on the ears for you even if it wasn't for me...

Exactly my quaker reaction to the presence of the AC technician in the house. My latest strategy was to give him a piece of banana prior to the technician walking past his cage. And I put a bowl of cut banana pieces in front of their (my flock) cages, where it is visible for them. Every time I hear the technician was approaching, I would show up in their room and dump one small piece of banana into each of their bowls. It's kind of working, because my quaker was quiet on the fourth time the technician passed by his cage. Though he still shrieked , when later the technician passed by again with a folding ladder. The rest of my flock was calm , after the first piece of banana. They keep their focus on the banana , whenever I showed up ( which was followed by the technician a few seconds later). ✌🏼
