LM1 wasnt bait. Muzan never plans anything like that. Its likely Akaza was following him. ALso, Akaza isn't that old nor can he make demons. Muzan has to approve. and he likely wouldnt. A demon Slayer demon would be pretty OP one would think. As to whether one has become a one or not: *shrug*. Demon Slayers are still human and can still be turned. But, at the days end it's Muzans decision and nobody elses. The UMs are not more special then the LMs. They're just the strongest. Muzan still treats them like shit and wouldn't hesitate to kill them if they failed him or got out of line. Muzan is not a very competent or intelligent villain.

Realistically though, according to his number, he's supposed to be the 3rd strongest Upper Moon. I would expect any Hashira to have difficulty dealing with him considering what we know about the upper moons. Great reaction. Excited for next episode.
