2021-11-29 12:05:11 +0000 UTCThis is my opinion on Akaza running away: he isn't a coward. There's a difference between being brave and being stupid. Akaza won the physical battle, but Rengoku won the bigger battle by saving everyone. They're both winners in their own ways. Not to mention... Rengoku was pretty much out of strength after that giant hole in the chest/stomach and exhausting battle. I'm pretty sure Tanjiro would've also died if the sun hadn't come up at that point.
