Too many people nowadays just want their flashy animations, the Arcane, Demon Slayer, Eighty-Six and so on, forgetting that so many great classics that are great even to this day have the same animation style as this. To me, I feel you can have all the flashy animation you want, but if the story is crap the anime is still going to such, while those with great stories, even if the animation isn't top quality, the anime still shines People are just spoiled now and don't appreciate good anime that doesn't meet their visual expectation
