I see. Bad pacing and direction ftw. -_- I don't recall Naofumi's comment about them leaving being obvious what he was thinking. Really wish they handled this season more appropriately.

2022-04-29 05:59:34 +0000 UTCIt was very "subtle" in the anime and easy to miss if you blink but, when the other Heroes said they wanted nothing to do with this and suddenly left in a hurry, Naofumi assumed they knew something he didn't based on information from the game and wanted to hide it. Then in episode 2 we hear villagers talking about the 3 heroes fighting the tortoise and loosing. The assumption is that in reality they left to get the jump on Naofumi/one another.
