Not sure if anyone mentioned this, but you will get more Grey backstory in a much much later episode towards the end of the series.

2022-07-27 00:39:43 +0000 UTCAs far as the Eye of the Midnight sun know the stone is there, remember way back in episode 9 or whatever when the guy that escaped from Saussy Village they mention that the Black Bull obtained the stone. So they knew that the Black Bulls had the one stone all the time, but figured to search for the other two stones at any time.
