ik this is 2 years late, but yes, the anime didn't go the route of the LN, Horikita definitely was not a forgettable character during the Y1 arc...

2024-09-08 23:07:33 +0000 UTCyeah they have changed a little bit with the anime for example horikita in the anime, she is not even the main heroine of the ln and many people tends to forget her in it so they changed it to make it seems like she is the main heroine when in reality it does not have a "Main"heroine of the story, in this episode for example which is vol 4,5 of the ln there was another girl character instead of horikita that helped Ayanokōji here. i hope it changes to match the ln in season 2.
