Interesting. In the USA we don't have a tax for it as far as I know. We only pay a cable bill to have tv. The broadcasting networks need a television license iirc. That's basically like a tax for them.

2022-09-18 13:56:07 +0000 UTCUhm, not sure how it works there but here in Italy we have a tax that we must pay every year to watch TV. In the past was basically a tax you had to pay if you have at least one TV, but now you have to pay it even if you have a cellphone and you're not interested in TV because you can watch videos with it...I think what they refer there might be something similar to a tax.
