G1 Wreck-Gar made his debut in the original Transformers movie back in the 80s. He was the leader of a Mad Max style tribe of Cybertronions called the Junkions who lived on a garbage dump planetoid. Although originally hostile towards the Autobots, Hotrod and Kupp were able to make friends with them and they joined the final battle against Unicron in the movie. G1 Wreck-Gar is best remembered for his bizarre speech pattern, which consisted of him mimicking random bits of old TV signals, and his theme song, "Dare to be Stupid", performed by the man himself, Weird Al Yankovic.
