You can still win against someone who doesn’t understand the concept of losing. It just makes the battle all the more intense. That said, I agree, Free is an awesome character and one of the most unique in the series.

By the way, Free is actually inspired by L from Death note. Which makes sense. Both have the nickname Monster. Free is extremely sensitive and intelligent and flexible like L. Free is just weird, the way he walks, his posture. The cool thing about Free is also that he doesn't need a big spectacle and explosion to win which makes extremely unique. He just wants to win. That's the only objective and it makes perfect sense. Free is addicted to winning and he does it so naturally because for Free breaking your chains and limit is freedom well Free is a free soul That's also why he's associated to Reindeers who are in many cultures a sign of freedom. And winning is the definition of breaking limits. That's why Free is my fav. Such a unique and complex character while seemingly being "Normal"
