Beyblade Metal Fury Episode 22-23 Reaction
Added 2024-06-18 23:14:06 +0000 UTCAnother lore drop, but I'm a little confused. Where did the split power of Gaia go if Pegasus and El Drago weren't on Earth yet? I'm sure I'm misunderstanding it, but some of this lore doesn't seem to add up.
Oh, and King is the best new character in Fury! Enjoy.

So I think a better explanation is this of how I understand it. The new star fragment choose the season bladers based on their hearts. It has nothing do with Gaia in the past. Because in the past the season bladers didn’t exist. The solar system bladers were the ones who defeated hades with Gaias help. Now with the new star fragment falling Gaia knew the solar system bladers would need help so it split up to find bladers with most heated bey spirits And that turned out to be gingka, ryuga, Chris and Kyoya. And they would use the power of Gaia to help the solar system bladers beat hades. Gaias power fell when the other 10 did. Not before that.

2024-06-19 20:51:16 +0000 UTCryuga was a loner, but now he got our boy kenta, plus there’s no way you’ll ever be able to prepare yourself for how that little duo wit them will work out, even now wit how many times i’ve watched it i still see it as one of my top 3 anime moments cause of how cool it was to see

2024-06-19 00:35:56 +0000 UTCThat's fair. The power had to be chilling somewhere, after all, since those beys didn't exist yet.

2024-06-19 00:35:46 +0000 UTCYeah, he got into Kyoya's head, sadly. I just think it was out of character for him to run away. I figured he matured a bit after Metal Masters. A part of a team(granted it was mainly so he could face Gingka) while also keeping his sense of pride of gaining power through his own means.

2024-06-19 00:35:18 +0000 UTCI think I understand the timeline now. Ty. Gaia's power being split is the point of confusion. The power had to go hide somewhere and wait for it's time to enter the 4 season beys because the beys didn't exist at the time of Gaia's power split.

2024-06-19 00:33:04 +0000 UTCI don't view him calling himself a loner the same as the traditional sense. I think Kyoya is more upset that it's being alluded to that his power wasn't gained on his own but rather through a group.. which is false on Aguma's part. It's also false that one can't become stronger by themselves. Kyoya has done it and so had Ryuga. Being pushed by a strong opponent doesn't mean he gained the power through being in a group. He still gained the power on his own without having to train with other people unlike many of the other bladers in Metal. I 100% agree that Ryuga embodies the traditional meaning of being a loner.

2024-06-19 00:28:26 +0000 UTCThe lore is definitely really confusing to navigate though. Even as someone who's watched it all many times.

2024-06-19 00:27:55 +0000 UTCI mean, I suppose it *could've* been anyone, yeah. Although the one's the star fragment chose aren't really surprising to be fair.

2024-06-19 00:27:21 +0000 UTCSo, the 4 season beys could have been any constellation that falls into that season? It could have been other people beside who was chosen? Or, was the star fragment that's talked about in Metal Fusion the same once that fell during Zeus' time?
Anriku
2024-06-19 00:25:25 +0000 UTCAguma is like Kyoya's counterpart, they both use wind and are legendary bladers. Augma believes that you can only get stronger by working with others "the beylin fist" while kyoya for the most part believes in only using your own power. Also kyoya doesn't like working with his rival Gingka , which is why kyoya didn't want to be on the same team in metal masters. And Augma bringing up that kyoya was apart of "Gingka little play group" really got in his head.

2024-06-19 00:12:45 +0000 UTCIt’s super hard to put all this into text for the timeline but First. The first star fragment we know about fell to king Zeus, the 5 blader warriors and king hades. When king hades was defeated with the power of Gaia Zeus split her (Gaias) power into 4 additional parts. There were more than 2-star fragments that fell on earth. Pegasus and L-Drago were also created using one of the like 4 star fragments that we’ve seen. Then there was the latest star fragment that fell into the ancestors beys and the 4 season beys which basically “awakened” the previous power that Zeus had originally split its really confusing in the anime I know hopefully that made sense and I get it if your still confused and upset at how it was told to you in the show

2024-06-19 00:05:47 +0000 UTCI disagree that it's not in character for Kyoya to act like this. Kyoya has always had someone with him since we first met him in fusion. Having someone call him out on his bs loner mentality is great imo. Like think about it, in fusion Kyoya had that gang of loser bladers including benkei and he had been with Kyoya throughout fusion, then in masters Kyoya had benkei, Nile, Dhemoray, and now in fury he is still rocking with the entire squad. None of that speakes about him being a loner in the slightest. Aygoma was right when he said that one can't become stronger by themselves. Which is true and we've seen that throughout the entire metal saga even at this point. Yes Kyoya has gotten stronger but it wasn't because of him being a loner. I was always because he had someone pushing him to become an even better blader whether it's Gingka or Benkei aiding him either directly or indirectly. That's always been the case. The REAL LONER in this series imo is Ryuga who has no emotional bonds with any one other than L Drago itself.

2024-06-18 23:44:43 +0000 UTCi feel Hikaru is such wasted potential. She could of been such a powerful blader but instead she an office girl at like 14 for some reason

2024-06-18 23:43:52 +0000 UTCThe 4 season star fragments was split by Zeus all those years ago but they waited in space until they could reunite with the other 6 until the day had come to split up. That’s my head cannon

2024-06-18 23:42:33 +0000 UTCI think it also has to do with him not wanting anyone to control his fate

2024-06-18 23:42:09 +0000 UTCYeah it is out of character but if I remember correctly this is all part of his development

2024-06-18 23:31:17 +0000 UTCSo, the power of Gaia went into the 4 season beys the same time everyone else's star fragment did. I know it seems a little confusing because they said Zeus split the power of Gaia into 4 pieces, making it sound like it happened so long ago. But the fact is, the star fragment that fell at the beginning of metal fury was all 10 pieces. 1 obviously went to the great evil. 5 entered the solar system beys. And the last 4 entered the 4 season beys. Totaling 10.
Nathan Quimby
2024-06-18 23:31:01 +0000 UTCYeah. He let Aguma get in his head rather than remain calm. It just feels out of character for Kyoya.
