Like Julian, Dashan, Damian ect, despite being bladers for most of their life they never fought bladers as strong as them, or that could beat them until the world tournament. The same could be said about burst for Phi and Hearts, even though they had their beys since they were children nobody even came close to beating them.

2024-06-26 04:58:21 +0000 UTCI'd like to play devils advocate for Chris and give a slight criticism of this episode. I think the problem is that we don't really get to explore certain places in the world or people that have a prejudice view on strong bladers whether its being fearful of them or being discouraged by their awesome strength in a very in-depth manner at all. Instead we get bits and pieces of these situations like how King had faced prejudice because he was a strong blader, so much so that, out of fear, they took his bey away causing King to be alone. Chris had a similar situation but with some different aspects to it. His strength didn't bring fear but instead brought discouragement to his friends unintentionally resulting in Chris also being alone as well. The core aspect of their personal issues stems from people's view of their strength being seen as a problem of some kind. That's why I believe that if the third season had more episodes to flush out this theme than it would make Chris's reasoning feel more tight than loose. Instead of deciding to focus on Chris's back story here at the revival of nemesis. Hopefully what I've said makes sense.
