Gotcha. I guess that makes more sense since Gwyn helped Dante develop Ignition. He applied what he learned from creating Hybrid.

Any bey attempting to burst it must be able to overcome its attacking power first, otherwise it will result in it's own destruction. That's how both the Bullet tip and Erase have failed. Another interesting hint given by Dante is when Apocalypse seemingly avoided collision with Devolos, "Apocalypse let him go on purpose. And there is a reason for that!" He suspected something wrong. I think Arthur wanted to trick Delta into believing that the tip of the sword in Apocalypse is it's weakness and lure him into giving all out attack at that point.

Once you do enough damage to Apocalypse the center turns into a red diamond meaning its ready to be burst but you need to hit it in a specific point. The tip of the sword then you can burst it. So it doesnt make sense why delta didnt burst Apocalypse. And yes very stupidly op in real life XD
