Both soda and chicken wings are basically stand-ins for alcohol. Soda for beer and wings for the more hard stuff. In the future you’ll see plenty of times where wings especially will get characters less than sober lol. While episodic, a very excellent season finale. Going forward, continuity will be less like one episode leads into another, and more like the more characters and plots the shows introduces, the more likely those characters or plots will somehow come back.
