2024-07-07 22:48:53 +0000 UTCThat's fine. I just wouldn't personally go after a girl my friend has stated to be into. Especially if I wasn't into her and was doing it out of spite like Rigby was. Both are in the wrong at the end of the day. You're also right that he can't help she was interested in the movie or laughed at his jokes. He can help not asking out the girl his best friend is into and has openly stated as being so. Not to mention we can look at it as Margaret being used as a tool to get under Mordecai's skin by Rigby after he found out Mordecai is jealous.

2024-07-07 20:39:35 +0000 UTCI personally disagree that Rigby was in the wrong as well in this episode because he asked Margaret to a movie. He can't help the fact that Margaret wanted to see the horror movie as well or that she laughed at his jokes. Mordecai continues to fumble and Rigby showed how easy it was to simply ask someone out. The idea that your friend isn't allowed to talk to a girl your not even dating is absurd to me. No one should be forced to watch a friend fumble asking a girl out until he gets it right. Rigby was justified in his spite since he implies how difficult it was for him to get opening night tickets for the movie that he hope to treat his friend too. I can only Imagine that Mordecai would have the same reaction he had towards Rigby if some other guy was chatting it up with Margaret instead.

2024-07-07 19:21:30 +0000 UTCSorry, I’m kinda projecting my knowledge of his character as a whole and this episode really makes me annoyed with Mordecai knowing all I know about him. From your pov, yeah I can totally see that. Then again, he did literally kill his best friend over a girl.
