Indeed. Also, Drift said Shadow Raker trains his students to steal for him, so I'm guessing he was more like a pirate than a bounty hunter.

2024-07-09 20:52:48 +0000 UTCBeing a former Decepticon named Deadlock is an element of Drift's character that was carried over from the original Drift from IDW. However, Shadow Raker is a character exclusive to this series. You know, in a way this episode really adds a lot of context to Drift's behavior since his first appearance. The reason he's always been so strict and rigid with his students is because he's trying too hard to be a better role model than the one he had.
